The Wedding of Whitney & Chris

  Whitney and Chris were married on a hot, summer day last year at Northbank Park in downtown Columbus. Luckily, we were on the river and
so a cool ( ish ) breeze was a rather consistent companion throughout the day!

  Here's a funny story... if you're familiar with Northbank Park, you know that there is a huge railroad bridge that crosses the river just a few
hundred yards from the bank. Chris had called the railroad company in advance to try to obtain the schedule of the trains so that he could try to
avoid scheduling the wedding ceremony at the same time as a train might pass by. Unfortunately, the railroad wouldn't tell him the schedule
because of security concerns, but assured Chris that the trains were very infrequent and odds were the schedules wouldn't conflict.

  As luck would have it, the ceremony ( which was totally gorgeous, by the way ) was going nicely when - sure enough - along came a train. It
was sooo loud that no one could hear a thing, and the ceremony had to basically "pause" for about three minutes until the train had passed. But,
there was a silver lining to all this. While this was going on, and no one could hear a thing, the bride and groom and minister and wedding party
all just had to kind of stand there, looking at each other. Pretty soon, everyone had a great big smile on their face, including the guests, as the
moments passed by. It made for really nice photos and some really fun memories of the day!
