The Wedding of Abby & Will

We recently had the great privilege to photograph the wedding of Abby & Will, a great couple with whom we really hit it off right away. They had
a very elaborate vision for their wedding day, and their style was perfectly in line with our own. We had shot their engagement session some
months before, and already knew that they both were very natural and relaxed in front of the camera. Couple that with the fact that they both
planned to make lots of time for photography, and we just knew their wedding would be a photographer's dream.

And it was...

These first few pictures below were taken in the space of just a few minutes, on the grounds of the Brookside Country Club.

The next few shots are a few detail shots that we did during the day. The shot with the pink shoes is a rarity for me, because I don't do a lot of
"spot-coloring", but I thought it worked well in that particular shot to highlight the bride's choice of shoe colors!

Okay, we had sooo much fun with this next series of shots, which were actually taken by one of our assistant photographers. The guys were all
hanging out in a room off of the sanctuary a little bit before the ceremony, and had a lot of nervous energy. They were joking around and came
up with the idea to treat the coming ceremony as though it were a sort of big sporting event. So, a chalk diagram of the sanctuary was drawn on
the board, and the groom proceeded to give a pep talk to the players ( groomsmen ), explaining to them where to go and when and getting
them pumped up to go out there and WIN! They ended the "pep talk" with a cheer and some "flying chest bumps!"

It was really funny and I hope that this next series of images helps to convey the moment...

Even when a couple is photographed amongst nature's amazing colors, there are times when an image speaks most strongly when presented in
simple black and white.
